In the beginning, an Incubus was merely a low-ranking demon who fed on the sexual terror he could inflict upon a human being—sometimes from a distance or cloaked as a dream. But that was before one of them got the idea to turn a human with nothing to lose into the perfect demon feeder.
Kendrick was a mere stable boy under the rule of the cruel Lord Sterling. A stallion breaching the fence set off the Lord’s sadistic tendencies on the innocent stable boy. Had it not been for a Lil-demon (incubus) watching and feeding off the torment from the shadows, it would have been just another abuse at the manor. But the demon, Bakzel, made the stable boy an offer he couldn’t refuse. The offer of getting revenge. Yet, every wish has a consequence, but Kendrick was too broken to think about that when the Lil-demon cast the spell.

During his first cycle, Kendrick learned to live with what he’d become at the pleasurable hands of the demon, Bakzel. He even felt hopeful that he’d learned to balance his humanity against the demon seed growing stronger inside of him. He felt hopeful that he’d earned his title as the master of demonic underlings serving him.
But there’s more to being human than retaining the ability to feel empathy toward someone who has hurt you. There’s more to being a master than having the power to veto a decision.
One valuable lesson has yet to be presented to Kendrick. The general rules for demons and how they may interact with humans, the human realm, and stake claim to a territory. That lesson is sprung on Kendrick in an untimely fashion.
Duncan and Axel had looked forward to a wedding and a quiet life together. A mix up turned all that around, and their love and devotion are put to the ultimate test as Duncan has to fight his way out from a drug that makes him a danger to the man he loves. And everyone else for that matter. But some guys have it coming.
Kendrick was a mere stable boy when the Lil-demon Bakzel watched him get raped by the Lord of the manor. Recognizing potential, Bakzel made the stable boy an offer to gain the power necessary to take revenge in return for Kendrick gathering energy for himself and his conspiring Lil-demons.
For four hundred years, Kendrick has, as a demon endowed incubus, worked on securing his demon Master energy to rise. Recognizing that he will soon succeed, the stable boy begins to think about the future. But the latest victim collected to feed the incubus’ urges was missed more than expected.

But everything created will also evolve, and the creating demon never expected his plan to turn out quite like this.
One good thing came out of the police sniffing around for a missing person. Mason found his apprentice. But they’re far from out of the woods, yet, and Mason has to balance that and finding common grounds with a young man who struggles as much as Mason did, just differently.
As things are going well on the business side of life, demonic problems begin to pile up.
A group of Lil demons breaches the veil by manipulating humans into creating a doorway. The demon King in Mason is forced to step up, and Mason needs to learn more about demon politics and rules in order to control his realm.
But demon business isn’t the only thing that needs his attention. The kindhearted side of the duo that is a human and a demon King runs into problems when the open doorway puts an innocent in front of Mason, and he acts rashly to save that innocence. It forces new aspects of the underlings into light, and it opens Mason up to a whole new branch of the demonic that he never knew existed.

Mason has overcome many struggles since the demon was locked inside him to grow strong. They’ve found a balance to live together over the past four hundred or so years.
But there’s one thing about being human the demon has never experienced—something Mason hasn’t experienced until this cycle, either. Being truly loved. With love comes the risk of a broken heart, and that’s very dangerous for the lover when the demon doesn’t understand it as anything but a threat to the host body.
Luckily, Mason made a friend who knows a thing or two about demons. Unfortunately, that friend has no idea what her kind of magic does to an endowed human and an incubus king locked in the same body.
